To comprehensively evaluate the policies at a school, I would interview 2-3 staff members to understand how the code of conduct and discipline plan are communicated and administered in practice (McNeill, Friedman, & Chavez, 2016).2 Reviewing any additional relevant documents and artifacts could also provide insight. It would be important to evaluate if the policies and their implementation are indeed positive, fair and unbiased as intended.
